About Me

I’m a high-energy actor, educator, yoga teacher, and creative advocate passionate about using the arts to spark imagination, foster human connection, and inspire positive change. Whether on stage, in the classroom, or in the yoga studio, I thrive on bringing energy, joy, and creativity into everything I do. Currently, I am a faculty member at The University of Alabama where I specialize in teaching movement based acting classes.

My Background

I hold a BFA in Musical Theatre from Samford University, where I embraced a range of roles, from Sylvia to Every Brilliant Thing, directed The Wolves, and performed professionally in Henry V (First Folio) and Cabaret (VST). After undergrad, I expanded my experience through interning in Acting and Social Media Management with JET Theatre in metro-Detroit, playing Patty Simcox in Grease, understudying Anne Frank in a virtual TYA production, and running JET’s Instagram and website. I earned my MFA in Acting from The University of Alabama (Roll Tide!) where I took on dynamic roles such as Toinette in The Imaginary Invalid and Cassius in Julius Caesar as well as directing Macbitches. For my graduate thesis, I co-wrote, starred in, and led the marketing for CRUX, a short film. In 2025, I starred in Birmingham Children’s Theater’s The Little Engine That Could.

I hold a 500-hour certification in yoga and love to blend embodied practices with script analysis and moment work in the classroom, having taught special topics such as solo performance, careers for actors, Shakespeare, and yoga for actors for both undergraduate and graduate students at The University of Alabama.
